Steven recently installed a new decking area in our garden. Before finding Creative Roots we had several companies quote for this work but simply could not find someone we liked that we knew would do a really good job. That’s was until we dealt with Steven and Nancy!! Absolutely fantastic experience and the quality of the finish is just outstanding! Steven was also so quick in completing the work, it took him less than a day and half, he worked so hard. Thank you creative roots for creating a lovely new space in our garden. We worked with Nancy and Steve to redesign our entire garden. They put forward designs that met our criteria and were incredibly patient and flexible with the various changes. They had great suggestions and alternatives to meet our budget. The work involved replacing all the fencing, removing the existing hedge, concrete slabs and gravel to create a modern design with a combination of limestone floor, real lawn, sleeper beds and a contemporary shed. The team were very professional, considerate and friendly. Work was completed on time despite Dec weather. Highly recommended.We love our new garden!
Creative Roots did an amazing job of my garden as well as new fencing – a complete transformation. The delivered exactly what we had agreed on in the design stages. Despite major weather issues they delivered on time! An extremely professional team, who were so piloted, diligent and self-sufficient. I didn’t even know they were there. Upon leaving they did a really nice job of tidying up all areas they had been working in as well as other parts they did not affect. A pleasure to work with pre job commencement, Steven and Nancy offered pragmatic and cost effective solutions to meet our hopes for our garden. The design was complex and weather was awful so they did really well to get the job done and worked extremely well with other providers including hot tub delivery and our electrician. Any concerns were addressed and dealt with quickly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Creative Roots.

They were thorough and professional installing us with confidence that going with them would be the right choice. Everything was explained to us and Any questions answered. The two builders that came to carry out the work was a joy to have, always happy and working hard even in the heavy rain. The work was carried out to a high standard and left with no mess. We had a really scruffy looking uneven front garden thanks to our housebuilder, and we weren’t sure how to improve it as a result. We asked Creative Roots for some ideas and they came up with a really attractive looking two tone slate and pebble rectangular design with central feature bushes in the middle. It looked very nice in the design sketch, but when it was finished it looked absolutely amazing – we literally could not be more pleased with the end result. I wish we’d done this a year ago! The price was also extremely good. Very highly recommended!!

Overall extremely happy with the service, from the very first site visit, where they listened to our ideas and offered some we had not thought about, to the quality of workmanship and professionalism of the chaps while they were working. Creative roots, made good all parts of our adjoining space with our neighbours and fully cleaned our location as if they were never there.
From initial quote, design, completion and a few extra bits and pieces that weren’t part of the initial plan, Steven and Nancy were great to deal with. The garden had an inclined slope and needed a complete re-do with sleepers, retained beds, upper and lower patio area’s and a new garden shed. The work had to be completed to a tight deadline. Steven and Paul got the work done very quickly. Polite, incredibly hard working and always happy discuss different aspects of the work. We would have no problem in recommending them.
By our standards this was a demanding project as it needed to be harmonised with a 9 year old patio and a new workshop adjoining. Steven and Nancy produced a brilliant choice of designs, one of which fitted the bill to perfection. The implementation – including a lovely water feature – was a total success, we were consulted from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, we are delighted with the finished product which will really enhance our garden. Creative Roots are an incredibly professional team and completed the work to a very high standard. I was very pleased with the result and they kept me informed with regular updates throughout. I would definitely recommend them for garden work – they are able to also provide sensible advice and guidance which is very helpful if you have no background in this area.
The garden has been completely transformed and now looks amazing. Steven and his team were great, continually kept us updated and we were able to just leave them to it. It was good to see the only evidence of the team being at the house each day by only seeing the changes they had made to the garden, tidying up each day and removing all rubbish. The work should have been competed within 1 weeks but due to circumstances that we could not have foreseen the work was delayed by mutual agreement.

Great design produced by Steven who captured everything I wanted. The work was carried out efficiently and tidily. They overcame any issues encountered and the end result was amazing! Even better than I expected and completed to time. Definitely recommend.
Steve and his team were a pleasure to work with. They turned up on time as agreed every day and were polite and helpful. Being a new build within an area of possible flooding I was keen to excavate a lot further down than you might normally need. Steve ended up removing approx. 38 tonnes of soil and clay and back filling with over 33 tonnes of crushed concrete to act as a soakaway. He then laid a 10m x 3.6 metre patio area and artificial grass with slate borders to the rest of the garden. Highly recommended.

Garden cleared including removal of patio, lawn and many plants. New redesigned patio laid, beds constructed using sleepers and lawn laid with mowing strip of block pavers around. All work completed to a high standard and to my satisfaction. I was consulted throughout the job and minor changes made as work progressed. Team was very helpful and polite at all times.
